Rick Astley appeared on Breakfast in his pyjamas for an interview on Wednesday and vowed to do the same for his gig at 2023.
The singer, 57, will open the Pyramid Stage on the Saturday for the first time alongside the likes of Guns N’ Roses, and .
In the interview he said: ‘I get to play on the Pyramid Stage which is absolutely bonkers to be honest.’
‘It’ll be very early on the Saturday, maybe a bit too early but there you go.I’m still in my pyjamas now so I might do it in my pyjamas to be honest.’

Talking about performing at Glastonbury, Rick said: ‘It’s so exciting it’s amazing.Obviously, Elton John is going to be doing his last British concert, I mean come on how good does it get?
‘I’m ashamed to say I’ve never even been to Glastonbury but I’ve dropped my daughter off several times and then scurried back up the M4.’
‘We are doing a couple gigs before and then straight to Glastonbury.I’ve not been able to tell anybody, so I’ve been answering text for the last 24 hours.’

He was asked: ‘Weren’t you booked on to play at Glastonbury, but Covid shut it off?’
He replied: ‘I thought my shot was gone because I didn’t think we’d get an invite back just simply because time moves on so quickly, and new artists come on.
‘Elton on the last night is going to be super emotional and what a way to finish his career.I went to see him last night at the O2 and I’m telling you he’s still got it baby’.
